IAM Solution Spotlight

Showcasing innovative approaches in Enterprise Identity Management.

Do you have a solution you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you!

We are running three sessions focused on practical problems facing identity practitioners.

We invite participation from our identity community to demonstrate how they solve these problems. Click on the Submit buttons below to submit your solution to be considered for inclusion.

IAM Solution Spotlight 1

MFA At the Edge

Strong Authentication/MFA is a fundamental security control that should be deployed for accessing Enterprise Applications. Yet, how do we know that this has been universally deployed? How are exceptions managed/resolved? How are edge cases addressed? Is it ever possible to get to a “Job Done and Delivered”? We are zooming in on the resilience and completeness of MFA/Strong Authentication roll-outs and the proofing of the same and are inviting submissions from practitioners who have successfully, not just deployed, but are also measuring the effectiveness of this control on a regular basis.

IAM Solution Spotlight 2

Using PAM to Control High Risk Business Transactions This session explores the critical distinction between technical privilege (system-level access) and business privilege (functional access within applications), why conflating the two means additional risk and complexity, and how both types of privilege should be governed & controlled. Are these two separate domains? Can similar approaches be used across both? We are inviting submissions from practitioners and solution providers who can weigh in with real world experience of having handled sensitive and privileged access across IT Infrastructure and business.

Making IGA Entitlements Understandable

How many times do we see roles and entitlements with poorly defined entitlements? Coherent Entitlement, Role Descriptions are important for governance hygene. More importantly, it underpins the effective use of access reviews, role compositions and enforcement of least privilege. We would like to understand how our community of practitioners are addressing this issue. Have you deployed a solution that can scale across multiple applications in production or have you done this specifically for one application?
